About Tshikonwe Foundation

Tshikonwe Foundation is a registered voluntary association founded by Ms. Phathutshedzo Mudzielwana, with a mission to serve humanity by addressing pressing social and economic challenges in communities. Rooted in the values of compassion, empowerment, and sustainability, the Foundation transforms lives by offering support in education, health, housing, nutrition, skills development, arts, culture, and sports.

Completed Projects & Community Impact

Career Guidance with University of Venda

We partnered with the University of Venda and a local TVET college to run career guidance sessions. Learners received mentorship, advice on career pathways, and exposure to opportunities in science, technology, and engineering.

School Nutrition & Gardening Dream Project

We launched a gardening programme in schools to teach learners about healthy eating and sustainable agriculture. This project not only provided fresh produce for school meals but also created awareness of food security in rural communities.

Menstrual Health & Dignity Drive

At Tshixwadza Primary School, we distributed sanitary towels to ensure young girls can attend school with dignity and confidence. This initiative also opened discussions on menstrual health and hygiene.

Library & Learning Support

We donated books, reading materials, and scientific calculators to under-resourced schools. These resources supported literacy development, improved mathematics performance, and gave learners tools to succeed academically.

Wellness & Self-Care Campaign

We provided cosmetics and oral hygiene packs to learners, promoting self-care, confidence, and overall wellness. This simple act encouraged young people to value their health and wellbeing.
